Garth Brantley - Founder and Lead Developer
Garth has been designing and building software for over 15 years. Garth has worked with a wide range of platforms and technologies, including C/C++, .NET, Oracle, MySQL and PHP among many others. Over the years Garth has worked with GUI's, databases, financial applications, medical imaging, data management and enterprise storage systems.
Today at StoreFront Consulting, Garth brings our customer's visions to reality, designing and building secure, scalable solutions with a focus on performance and utility. Garth is responsible for our strategic vision and ensuring that we have the resources to meet our customer's needs.
When not working, Garth enjoys snow boarding, white water kayaking and training for endurance races. Garth holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
Chris Shea - Founder and V.P. of Operations
Chris comes to StoreFront Consulting, Inc. by way of "Investors United School of Real Estate" where he was the Academics Director for almost 8 years. He was responsible for curriculum, managing instructors, and volunteers to perform weekly functions. His contribution was not limited to Academics as he could often be found in a ceiling pulling wires for the Rich Media and A/V Systems or troubleshooting for staff and students. Chris thrives in an ever changing environment that is flexible, and offers many opportunities to learn. He's very energetic, and committed to always improving the simplicity and efficiency of every aspect of his life.
Known by many nicknames Chris is often referred to as "Radar" for acting on your thoughts before they are shared, "Crash" due to the number of vehicles he's destroyed, "Butters" as his last name is Shea, and "Neat Freak", just ask his wife Emily. He enjoys most physical activities such as running, cycling, or kayaking especially when teaming up with his friends. He regularly participates in cancer related fund-raising events, and most recently he is a proud new father to his first son Henrik.
John Brantley - Founder and V.P. of Finance
John brings more than 20 years of financial management and business experience to the table. Always operating with an entrepreneurial spirit, John has started numerous successful businesses. John has years of experience working in the business software industry and working with small businesses.
At StoreFront Consulting, John is responsible for smooth financial management and ensuring our stability. He also attends to our customer's business needs and ensures that we can offer a full range of consulting services.
John holds a master's from Johns Hopkins University. When not working, John enjoys golfing and following current events.
