Agile Web Project Manager

Who do we want?

We're looking for a highly energetic, relentlessly organized, obsessively focused Project Manager. You are detail oriented and excel at communicating complex ideas verbally and in writing. You have experience managing web projects large and small.

What you'll be doing

You will manage web projects from planning and scheduling through delivery and validation. You will communicate with our clients and developers to make sure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
• Project Management Certifications preferred: PMP, CSM, CSPO, CSP
• Experience managing small and large web projects
• High level of technical knowledge / understanding of web trends and standards
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Knowledge of agile methodologies / tools
• Relentlessly focused on budget and schedule
• Desire to learn and grow

Duties

• Manage project schedules, deliverables and budgets
• Write project documentation and schedules
• Manage and document project task queue in our agile tool
• Manage creation of specifications and requirements documentation
• Communicate with developers daily and monitor status
• Communicate with clients, manage expectations and provide a single point of contact during project execution
• Communicate and coordinate with our QA and build team

Front-end PHP Web Developer

Who do we want?

We're looking for a passionate web developer with 3-5 years experience working on the front-end of web applications.  You are professional, good with deadlines and comfortable working independently.

What do we use?

We're mostly working on the Magento eCommerce platform.  Magento is built on PHP, the Zend framework and Mysql.  You'll need HTML, CSS & jQuery to work on the front-end.  To get things done we work with GIT, the linux command line and Photoshop.

What you'll be doing

Your main focus will be front-end eCommerce web development.  You'll work building, maintaining and enhancing stores for our clients.  Once you're up to speed, you'll work remotely, apart from our quarterly get-togethers.  On a given day, you might do any of the following:

• Enhance a product page, adding jQuery animation, customizing the layout and building a new product "collections" feature.
• Install and configure a third party Magento extension to improve a client's store
• Optimize and combine theme images into CSS sprites, rearrange JavaScript load order to improve page load time.

• Design and spec-out a Magento extension which adds a new feature to the catalog management system.
• Install and configure a third party Magento extension to improve a client's store.
• Debug Magento core code to solve a conflict with third party software.
