Extension Details
StoreFront Consulting has developed the Featured Categories extension to give merchants the ability to feature selected categories and sub-categories. The extension allows a “Featured Categories” block to be placed on the home page or in any CMS page or static block in the website. The “Featured Categories” block displays selected categories, along with thumbnail versions of their respective category images and selected sub-categories for each.
The Featured Categories extension is both free and open source. The extension is being released under the Open Software License ("OSL") version 3.0. This license allows the extension to be used and copied freely. You can find more information about the OSL v. 3.0 here.
